Michigan FairTax Meeting

Posted by Demian Brady - March 07, 2008

From the Battle Creek Enquirer:
Meetings to inform on Fair Tax Proposal

Two meetings on Saturday will aim to inform residents of the Michigan Fair Tax Proposal. The meetings will be held:

# From 8 to 9:30 a.m. at The Floor Trader, 6619 W. Main St., Kalamazoo.

# From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mongolian King, 30 E. Columbia Ave., Battle Creek.

The meetings will include a 15-minute presentation followed by a Q & A session.

The Fair Tax Proposal would do away with the state income and business taxes and replace them with a sales tax.

For more information, call John Gisler at 323-0259 or visit www.fairtaxmi.org.
