We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. -- Winston Churchill

Will Barack and Hillary Vote?

Posted by Dominic Rupprecht - March 12, 2008

Earlier this week big-porker Hillary Clinton ($342 million last year) and medium-porker Barack Obama ($90 million last year) joined no-porking John McCain($0 ever) in endorsing Jim DeMint's earmark moratorium. Now the question is, will they vote?

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that John McCain has canceled part of his campaign schedule to get back to Washington tomorrow morning to vote for the moratorium. Now let's see if born-again pork-busters Hillary and Barack come off the trail to put their votes where their mouths are.

UPDATE: To their great credit, they'll be there.
