Hilarious: Corrupting Bill's File is...Corrupted

Posted by Andrew Moylan - January 27, 2009

File this under "Hilarious, but terrible:" the PDF file containing the text of the Senate's version of the appropriations title of the stimulus bill is corrupted. Maybe all those toxic earmarks it was stuffed with corrupted the file once and for all.

That means that NTU and the other watchdogs that started ReadTheStimulus.org can't begin to convert the file into a searchable format. If I were more of a cynic (I didn't think that was possible, but just play along here), I would think it was done on purpose. One must begin asking questions when the ONLY copy available appears to be a photocopied and then scanned version of the paper copy that remains under lock and key at the Appropriations Committee.

Angry? We were too, and we took to the streets to protest stimulus pork...
