It is little more than a government bailout/makeover disguised as "relief" and turns my stomach.

This is a $16,000 per family burden in the future that America just cannot take on at this point.

"The 'Making Work Pay' credit of $500 to every individual making less than $75,000 (or $1000 to couples making $150,000 or less) would pay people whether they are productive or not - akin to welfare."

Since this is a refundable credit, a better way to put that would be to explain that the tax credit will go to many people who pay no income tax.

Regarding the Forest Service money... Here is another attempt for them to spend our money to build software and attempt to change a National policy? Smaller projects like this one add up! Call the FS and ask for details on this contract
