Cap-and-trade passes House narrowly
Posted by Andrew Moylan - June 26, 2009Attention now turns towards the Senate, where the intensity will only ratchet up. In particular, the two Senators Nelson (Democrats of Nebraska and Florida), Martinez (R-FL), Landrieu (D-LA), both Senators from Arkansas Lincoln and Pryor (both Democrats), and Senator Specter (D-PA) will likely be the biggest targets.

When, where and how do we stop the lunacy? We talk back to our TVs, complain at work, have endless discourses at cocktails parties and dinners about what is going on in the Sentate, the Legisature, Cap and Trade, the Stimulus Package, bankruptcy in California. All so wrong on so many levels. What ACTION, what MOVEMENT, what can we acutally DO? Where can we START to make a difference in this crazy time?

Nelson of Nebr is one of my reps. I'll send him more emails to vote NO on any and all energy bills.

Jaxan,
I know it seems like a cliche, but the only thing we can do is yell louder, complain more, and engage more directly with our representatives in Congress. The one sure-fire way to make them change their position is to threaten to kick them out!
We can help you do that. If you sign up for our email list or text the word "FIGHT" to 54608, we'll alert you about these issues and put you in direct contact with your Reps.
You can also attend the huge march on DC that we're helping to organize on September 12th. Go to www.912dc.org for more details, but get some of your friends, hop on a bus, and join us as we protest big government here in the nation's capital.
