Remember Robert Preston in the Music Man? Well, he sold a dream, and he was convincible--but when he was about to be run out of town, he convinced the parents that the kids had musical talent and they were all so proud. Just as the voters got sucked into Obama's dream. The only thing the apprentice president had was a dream and he convinced the majority of the voters and now they are stuck with him. It's time for America to wake up. His dream has now become a nightmare.

There are plenty of good reasons for being against this healthcare reform bill, but please, let's not pick on word statistics. I am certain that these statistics are entirely typical of United States law language. Laws, after all, exist to tell people what to do.
This particular argument would only be valid if it could be shown that other laws (say, the USA PATRIOT act) were substantially different in their tone. And I'm willing to bet they're not.
Surely there is plenty of substance to attack in this bill without resorting to silly word-counting games.
