Fiscally Conservative?

Posted by Jordan Forbes - November 25, 2009

Our friends over at the National Republican Congressional Committee devised a list of who they thought were vulnerable Democrats in 2010. We then proceeded to track the votes of each of those Members on the most important fiscal bills over the past year: both TARP bills, the auto bailout, stimulus, budget, cap-and-trade, Republican motion-to-recommit H.R. 3962, the House health care "reform" bill, and final passage of H.R. 3962.

Keep these votes in mind as so-called blue dog Democrats and other Democrats in conservative-leaning districts continue to cast questionable votes. As some of these issues move forward, we hope this information proves to be useful in keeping leaders accountable to the people they serve.
