Do They Have to Make Up the Time? (Update)
Posted by Jeff Dircksen - March 28, 20061. Students in northern Virginia are getting into the act -- thanks to the commenter on yesterday's post.
2. Michelle Malkin is reporting that the LA school district informed parents that buses would be available to take students back to school "when appropriate."
Is it appropriate for school administrators and teachers to support truancy? Is it an appropriate use of taxpayers' dollars to fund schools that allow students to decide when they will or will not be in school? Perhaps it would be appropriate for these school systems to offer a tax rebate to taxpayers for every day that students are not in classes.

France should have a Riot Battle Royale, pitting the immigrants who rioted a few months ago because they are locked out of the economy versus this week's rioting youth who don't want to lose their spot of privilege in the welfare state. To the victor, the spoils!
